4 COMMITMENT CHARACTERISTICS

PURPOSE.  PERSPECTIVE.  PRAYER.  PERSISTENCE.

Achieving anything, and most especially success in a business venture, means being clear about setting goals and achieving them.  And, according to the John Maxwell Leadership Bible, it takes having these 4 commitment characteristics:  Purpose. Perspective. Prayer. Persistence.

1.  Compelling Purpose.  Always remember why you joined the Soul Purpose community.  This is a personal question that inherently grants you permission to be all about you.  What do you need/want for you, your family and those you love?  What are you passionate about in your community?  What are your special gifts/talents that you'd like to develop or pursue?  These are the things that will serve as your compelling purpose...the purpose that will inspire and motivate you to follow through on your commitment to your Soul Purpose business.

2.  Clear Perspective.  Know that obstacles are a part of any business as problems and prosperity seem to go hand in hand.  As you build your Soul Purpose business, keep a clear perspective and don't let fear of failure, rejection or obstacles derail your focus.  Always refer back to your purpose for the inspiration you need to be resourceful.  Nothing feels as great as you'll feel when you successfully make an obstacle a non-issue.

3.  Continual Prayer.  In achieving all that you are destined to be in Soul Purpose and in your life, you must remain true to the source of all power and greatness.  Praying for guidance, wisdom and courage is vital to walk the path of an entrepreneur.

4.  Courageous Persistence.  In the end, successful people keep moving forward despite the lack of being able to see the evidence of success and despite any obstacles.  Always keep the faith that what God has for you is for you and remain faithful to the process!

See you at the top!
